Plant Development Intern

Work hands-on in process engineering, project management and construction at our Mannheim site.

The Role

Your mission

You perform plant development tasks in process engineering, project management and construction and support the Plant Development Team in day-to-day tasks.

  1. 01

    Equipment Specifications

    Accurate equipment specification sheets, equipment calculations and similar completed efficiently.

  2. 02

    Engineering Documents

    P&IDs, PFDs, Mass and Energy Balances, equipment specification sheets drafted and iterated based on feedback.

  3. 03

    Procurement Support

    Sourcing and comparing equipment, consumables and services, coordinating with suppliers and ensuring timely deliveries.

  4. 04

    On-site Construction

    Coordinating with contractors, overseeing technical execution and ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and safety standards.

  5. 05

    Literature Research

    Conducting and applying relevant research to current ICODOS projects on topics such as distillation, carbon capturing, equipment sizing and plant cost estimation.

Experience

  • Education in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • Internships or working student experience in the process industry.
  • Fluency in English; intermediate German.
