Plant S
Our small-to-medium scale e-methanol plant — designed, built, owned and operated by ICODOS.
Plant S is ICODOS' entry-level commercial plant, designed for industrial sites with biogenic CO₂ point sources such as wastewater treatment plants, biogas plants and biomass facilities. It offers a proven, turnkey pathway to sustainable e-methanol production at manageable scale. ICODOS' first-of-a-kind Plant S projects are now in development at two sites — Seville, Spain and Mannheim, Germany — each capturing biogenic CO₂ from on-site wastewater-treatment biogas. Both are in front-end engineering and design (FEED), advancing toward a final investment decision, with production targeted from 2028.
